How does the offline-first model work?
Maculogic stores all data locally on your device using encrypted SQLite. You need an internet connection only once—during initial license activation. After that, the application works completely offline, forever.
Can I transfer my license to a new computer?
Yes! Professional licenses include 2 device transfers per year. Clinic licenses include 2 transfers per device. Simply deactivate on the old device and activate on the new one through your portal.
Do you offer educational or research discounts?
Yes! We offer special pricing for academic institutions and clinical research projects. Contact our sales team with your institutional email for details.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and bank transfers for Enterprise plans. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Is my data HIPAA compliant?
Maculogic is designed with HIPAA compliance in mind. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and stored locally on your device. We never access, transmit, or store your patient data on our servers.
